Human Resources Assistant (Full-time): Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day administration of human resources policies and procedures including recruitment, orientation, all applicable background checks, hiring, terminations, leave of absences, benefits administration, disability/workers’ com., personnel information management and personnel policy interpretation. Requires: associates degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources or High School Diploma or GED and two years’ experience in Human Resources administration. Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, computer with proficiency in MS Office, HRIS software, Internet and email. Also essential is an ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and sensitive information. Non-exempt position.
Direct Support Professionals (Part Time to start): Responsible for the health, safety and well-being of individuals with disabilities. Requires HS Diploma/GED, valid NYS Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and at least 18 years of age. Must be available 16 hours per week (8 of these hours must be on the weekend).
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Full Time-Community Housing Division): Requires Associates Degree, valid NYS Driver’s License and registered as a COTA in NYS. One year work experience as a COTA and working with the developmentally disabled population preferred.
Employment Counselor (Full-time-Job Training/Day Program Division): Assists workers in determining abilities and interests and getting competitive employment. Requires Associates Degree and two year experience in developmental disabilities and employment.
