Life and Employment Enrichment Program (LEEP)

LEEP provides program participants who are Medicaid eligible and possess a development or intellectual disability with services not traditionally offered in the job training setting (occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy, nursing, social services, nutrition, independence skills and independence in travel training).

LEEP enrollees receive assistance and/or training in a variety of individual and group settings.  The goals are to increase skills and abilities that enhance self esteem and independence.

Whenever possible, LEEP works in conjunction with the job training program and blends the everyday routine at job training facilities.  In this manner, participants are allowed to work on individualized goals while earning wages through the job training program.
